Nothing ever stops moving--
Not when you want it to, or need.
No light dims out on Broadway;
No moment of silence for them.
If they go, will they be
Remembered as they are
Or as they used to be?
Only four months to show virtue—
Never given a second more.
Maybe he got to love again
And found what he was looking for.
He’s been in my life all along.
Baby to child to teen.
Somehow, it must be my fault.
I let him feel unloved again.
Always in competition
Always at odds, toe to toe.
He’s my brother and I love him.
If he goes, he may never know.
