When the walls stopped listening

when the walls stopped listening

I poured all my heart out into the

stained pages of my broken down diary

I was its favorite customer

all I did was talk about things

and when I knew things had gone wrong

I continued to write

to expose my wounds

even when my sorrows were too much and

my heart had been ripped out my chest

I kept writing

all because the walls had stopped listening
