When We Are Loved

When we feel loved

We feel absolutely elated

We want to live forever.

We don't care about goods

Moolah and property

That we will leave before tomorrow.

Love is the great happiness

Of which men and women need

It’s the condiment that vivifies the soul

It’s the essential sap of the flowers.

The opposite is unpleasant and bad

When we have love, we are at peace

We appreciate the sweet reddish sunsets

And we dream of mornings of welcoming kisses.

P.S. This poem is yours, Mon Amour.
