When We Grew Up
I'm sure you know as well as I
There's a point in all our lives
When school gets real hard
And we're falling in love
Go to bed super early
Yet still wake up sleepy
Homework done last second
Then have to deal with a big test
Understanding what was once obscure
Suddenly scared, miserable, insecure
Who knows when we turned the page
We’ve just started coming of age.
