When we met.

When we met I was shy and reserved,

But you ignored everything I warned you of and

You Never let me go,

and sure enough, I gave up

   And fell for you

When You laughed  so did I

When You cried I was by your side

When you talked I listened

I was just imprisoned by you

And I couldn't comprehend it at the time

So I sat there and held your hand through every

God damned tragedy you faced and embraced

What some did not appreciate and did not

Realize what you meant to me

Time past and you found someone who you loved

And loved you back and it hurts to think

that I fucked up and could not see what was in front of me

Until it was... gone.
