When we Sing

Joined together, several souls speaking as one, Empty cavities within bodies vibrate, Ears ringing with perfectly placed pitches, Each note sung just so. Eyes widening with an undefined excitement, Tunnel vision protecting from distractions, danger, A wild attempt to give and receive the world, Straining forward, holding back, not enough. Raw, unregulated emotion plunging into a spiraling sensation as if to survive this excursion into pure instinct, may never return, But unable to halt the process. The wonderful loss of control, Muscles tensed, yet relaxed, Grasping, clinging to the final chords, Afraid to let go. Reaching out.

Music is my passion. I really like water, and I love my horse. I'm in school for music education, so first and foremost, I'm a musician.
