When we try to move on

Memories fade…

Our eyes can only see a certain amount of things during a certain time. Our brain can only function on one thing at a certain time. We can only remember what is important to us or what speaks to us from “the heart.”

I’m tired.

I don’t know what to do when I’m there with you.

I feel pathetic and ugly because of these feelings.

Dear ?,

I wonder.

Do you know the real me?

I don’t think anyone knows.

You tear my heart to pieces for the sake of me not telling the truth.

It’s a burden.

Is this karma?

I’m sorry, but I cant take it.

And yet, I still talk to you everyday.

I have fun.

We have fun.

Still, I can never feel satisfied.

I am selfish on the inside.

I don’t show it.

I refuse to.

I hate it.

I still hold you special in my heart.

But, whenever I’m with you, I feel secluded.

I feel invisible.

Everything I see,feel

it is black and white.

A burden, only I can hold and want to let go of.

I can’t feel anything.

Words people describe me as could be lies.

My fake smiles.

My secrets.

My sadness.

My burden.

My heart.

Can’t you tell?

Please save me.

Alone in the darkness.

All I can do is watch.

“My life has been one great joke, a dance that’s walked a song that’s spoke, I laugh so hard I almost choke when I think about myself.” -Maya Angelou
