When Weather Causes Memories To Resurface

When the rain comes I stop & strip

I have released my nude form

Quickly & among the wet drip

Without sun I pace & am torn

In light I am easy to see

In rain I can showcase my skin

Becoming hidden by the trees

As thunder cracks I slightly grin

Sunlight & heat dry grass to dirt

My bare feet crack ground & raise dust

After summer storms mud browns skirts

Our stroll to picnic ends flushed

As the street floods I raise your form

You ride my back home through the storm
