When White Conquers Black

The foot on my neck

The fire in my lungs

My mouth is dry

Like I just ate a saltine

My nostrils flare

In desperate agony

The badge stands over me

Like a demon flashing it's teeth

The noise grows softer

As I inhale the stale air

And I fade into the pavement

I am a very creative person. I love to read, write, sing, dance and act. Poetry to me is a way of self expression that lightens someone's heart. I love white chocolate and my favorite book is Anne of Green Gables
