They live out their lives with no concern for the earth,
They mill about littering with carelessness and mirth.
We would rather toss a bottle in a common trash bin,
Than seek out the green containers that remind us our waste will be used again.
We Americans have grown to be so utterly wasteful.
I find this behavior sickening and distasteful.
When will these behaviors change; when will they learn,
That their pollution affects the earth, long after to it they have returned.
