When You Left

A few days ago, I was hurt

You promised to stay by my side

Alas, you left me

for her

The girl who tries to steal you away

The girl who lusts for you

You hold my hand

But seem distant

You kiss my lips

But it lacks passion

You say you love me

But still return to her

Can’t you see how much it hurts to be left for another?
