When you think "Everything Is Awesome"

In this mirror I stand

Wiping the tears from my face into my sweaty hands

Thinking how could my mom not believe me

In her face I stand, black eye

Telling her how her boyfriend has beat me

With no words, no reply

She walks away out the door

Less than an hour she enters back

With a mocha 45 concelor pack

And with the best of her luck

She somehow covers it up

Not wanting the problem to blossom

She sends me to school and said

Act like "Everything Is Awesome"

Now In class with my eyes fill

Hoping that my laughs dont turn into tears

Hoping the class topic dont turn into class fears

In a few years this will be very ugly

My confidence is not bubbly

Because I could never blossom

I'm made to believe that "Everything Is Truly Awesome"
