When You're SUICIDAL

Life may be hard

when you are torn up inside

but there are always better ways

To hide what you feel inside

Don't tell them how you feel

Tell them it's a scratch

Hide the marks with long sleeved shirts

And call that line on your neck a rash

Your heart is broken

But don't tell 'em that

Tell 'em that you are looking depressed

Just because you're tired

Laugh and make jokes about your pain

So people say they feel the same

Just to keep an existence to your name

Blackened thoughts are all you are

So trap yourself in lies

Your face is your scar

Until a part of you dies

Do you really want to do this?

Do you really want to die?

Please make me get over this

Because I'm suicidal

And even though I try

I don't want to die
