Whenever the sun

Whenever the sun hits the sea I am overwhelmed with glee Then I see it set I will weep you can bet Whenever the sun hits my face My arms fall and feel like lace At the end of the day sunshine is what the air will lack But the nest day it will soon be back Whenever the sun burns my skin I treasure it like my kin Whenever the sun goes down My smile turns to a frown Whenever the sun dries my clothes They keep my warm from my head to my toes When the sun goes behind a cloud I want to yell out loud Whenever the sun fills me with joy It reminds me of being a little boy No matter how many times the sun leaves me It will always come back and it will always be
