Where?
As time ticks away and the days are gone in a flash, a man contemplates and with this question he asks. What is a man who isn’t with his children? How can he play his role if he doesn’t invest the time? Money may be the motivation in order to provide for their needs, along the way he begins to neglect the most important things in his life. Because what is today can surely change tomorrow.
Coming and going like a cool breeze of fall wind, the man forgets to pay attention to the beauty in front of him. And deciding against spending an abundance of time with the ones he’s pledged his love to then throwing it all away is a folly. What is prosperity if those he loves aren't there to share the glory with him? How can he show his gratitude if no one is by his side to show it to?
A man is nothing if he is not there to watch his kids grow. His heart should be sore if he doesn’t have a relationship that makes them adore him. To have another man teaching the lessons that he should be teaching and receiving the love that he craves should make him feel cold, black, and hollow. Death would be too much of a kindness as he stares into the abyss.
