Where am I?

I look at my pictures...

This is not me.

This is not me.

This is not me.

Be honest...

Where am I?

Where is the gap between my teeth?

I thought there were bags beneath my eyes...

Am I really that small?

Where am I?

There's no longer a pimple on my cheek!

That's such a fake smile!

My eyes are brown not hazel!

WHERE AM I?

This is not me.

This is not me.

This...Is. Not. Fucking. me.

Be honest...

Am I losing it?

My skin is NOT that light!

My lips are NOT that pink!

My dimples are NOT that deep!

Dear God...please

...Where am I?

I am no supermodel

No Barbie doll

And I accept that...

I accept that...right?

Then why am I filtered?

Why can I not find myself?

Why do I not recognize myself in a picture of me taken by me?!

Huh?

Because...I am filtered.

like the words I say...

I am filtered.

like the pain I feel...

I am filtered.

like the me I want to be...

I am filtered.

That is why I cannot find myself...

Because this is not me.

And that is not me.

And this is not me.

So let's be honest...

Where am I?

I couldn't tell ya...

I am only filtered.
