Where am I?

What am I to do when I’ve already done so much?

Do I go back to the past and act like I don’t give a fuck?

Or do I look ahead to the future feeling like I’ve run out of luck?

What do I do?

Do I keep my composure and act like nothing’s wrong?

Or do I leave my feelings and thoughts in a verse of a song?

Do I act like a goofy person who loves football?

Or do I fade into the darkness letting everyone think I’ve gone soft?

Do I act like a different person?

Should I act distant and away from the people I care about?

Or do I become a different me that would force my parents to kick me out?

Who am I?

I’ve been told I’m evil. My sins aren’t that bad.

I’ve been told I’m mean. I haven’t made that many people sad.

I’ve been told I’m kind. If only they knew the true thoughts in my mind.

I’ve been told I’m good. Even Trayvon Martin was gunned down for wearing a hood.

I made my mom proud. But she isn’t as proud as she could be.

I’ve been told I’m all of these things, I’m starting to think I’m schizophrenic because the good in me has decreased to a small percentage.
