Where are the artists?

Where are the artists like Marvin? Where are the messengers for my generation? Who is asking "What's going on?" Who will declare that "far too many of us" are still dying? Where are the artists like Michael? Where are the messengers for my generation? Who is singing "They don't really care about us?" Who will tell the world we're 'tired of being the victim of hate?" Where are the artists like Bob? Where are the messengers for my generation? Who is preaching "We've got to fulfill the book?" Who will sing the "songs of freedom?"
