Where are we headed?

Days turn into weeks and weeks into months

So where are we headed? Don’t mean to be blunt

The year has just begun and the time is passing us by

So where are we headed? Should we continue to try?

This relationship has its ups and has its downs

So where are we headed?

During the storm will you still be around

We shared our thoughts and said our peace

So where are we headed? Do our goals still meet?

The future is close yet so far away

So where are we headed? Will we make it all the way?

A simple question but only God really knows

If we will make through the summer time the rain and when it snows

If together we are willing to sacrifice our life

To live together in harmony and put all else aside

Where are we headed? You and me….

Is this just for now? Or will we make it to eternity
