Where Are YOU From?

I'm an international child, I'm from

the scents of incense and

the harsh desert air.

I'm from gun shots,

drug deals and crazy baby mamas.

I'm from comedy and tradegy.

From Arabs to Greeks, and from Africans to Indians.

From scholars to artists.

I'm from tribes to sprawling cities.

I'm from cotton fields to beaver filled woods.

I'm from the crusades.

From the wars and the genocides.

From military stategies to armor plated elephants.

I'm from slaves and slave masters.

From the old world and the new world.
