Where are you?
Oh, gentlemen, where can you be found?
Has chivalry perished in a self-righteous world?
What fate has befallen thee to fade you from sight?
Has swagger swerved your course downriver?
Or have your feet been stolen by Hermes' messages
flying through data waves?
What catalyst can turn you into a phoenix,
bringing you to the forefront of society
and squelching the efforts of womanizers and heart-breakers?
Where, courtesy and meaningful hearts, have you gone?
Gone are the open doors and pulled out seats;
No more are the gentle tempers and slowness to anger;
Faint are the sweet, pure words of true endearment;
Polluted are the men of god that fathers should be raising.
Where can I find you, gentlemen,
or have you been drowned out by ignorance and pride?
