Where are you ?
Where are you ?
By Adryanne Redfern
Nonexistent Father`s Haunt me
Ghost`s to our Hearts
Abandonment Fills The Shadows
Of our Aching souls
Hoping for a good Father
Who will Stay Forever
But …. .. .. …
Forever is An illusion
People Joke about it
My father hates me
Well you have one ,
Sorrow never ever undwinds
Wanting Something , or Someone
Self Esteem plummets below
And we question ourselves
Are we Good Enough
And we ask ourselves
What did i do ?
Am i a Mistake
Negative thoughts cloud us
And people wonder
Why im never okay
Theres a noose around
My neck Constanly pulling
Especially Whenever Holidays happen
And in my mind
I scream…..
HE SHOULD BE HERE
…..
He should be Here
Echos consistently through time
I often fail too
Rember…. .
I am not alone
But still i think
You are not worthy ?
NO YOU ARE WORTHY
Then he comes in
A DOTING FATHER Figure
He picked up all
The broken pieces and
People Say …
Blood is thicker than water
Well….
I would Rather be
The water than blood
Endless Rays of Sunshine
Unwind but they never
Plummet….
They are always there
Thanks to someone
Who Stayed
Whenever i said
…… Please Don't leave me
Matthew Ramsey
This name changed my
Life forever and i owe are highest
Gratitude to him
For staying when i needed him most
