Where to Begin?

Blinking cursor

Staring at me

Waiting for my next word

To appear on the digital paper

Waiting for my fingers to tap the keys

And give life to the writing,

Give body to the ideas

Floating in my head.

Blank paper

Glaring at me

Waiting for my next thought

To be scrawled across its white expanse

Waiting for the ink to leave my pen

And give birth to my heartsong,

Give form to the feelings

Swelling in my heart.

Where do I start?
