Where did my senses travel?

Psalm 145:5

5 I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,

And on Your wondrous works.

 Where did they go?

I haven’t heard the birds sing ... why did their voices die?

I only heard the bells ring ... a reason now to cry.

I noticed a few colors ... but all appeared so dry

like the end of freedom ... that makes me wonder why?

Where did my senses go? ... I did not want to ignore them.

Why did I concentrate ... on things that won’t last?

Why did I fall ... for the same old mayhem?

Why do I duplicate ... mistakes from the past?

Is it any wonder ... that I wind up in nowhere?

Is it a surprise ... that I pick the same old boat?

Dressed in faded colors ... made by me in somewhere

far in the past long ago ... when I was barely afloat.
