Where Do I Begin?

How can I walk

When my knees are weak

In a path that is torn

A path that has been worn

That bleeds with trouble

Into a bed of weeds

Where I sleep

For I was born

I was born deaf by birth

And I was born blind

upon seeing the light

Of the dark night

But where do I begin?

If I am far behind

The trail of the lost

Where I crave

Where I lust

For the answer to my life

Where I wonder in thought

And where I have fought

Demons who demand

More than I can grant

But where do I begin

The path to my question
