Where Do I Go
And where do I go from here?
Lost in the world,
I used to be somebody.
The silence screams at me
Saying everything that nobody would.
It pushes in on me.
The darkness surrounds me,
Gently caressing my limp body.
Comfort shoots through me.
My arms lay out at either side,
The scars from my battles showing,
Marked red against my pale skin.
The pain is unbearable,
It's the only thing,
Reminding me that I'm alive.
Or, so, it feels like.
