Where is the Equality?

People will never see eye to eye.

There are so many opinions

that we can never tell which is the truth and which is the lie.

False security and an exhalted stride

create psuedo-superiority,

and what follows is an elevated pride.

I am no better than you,

and you are no better than me,

so why can no one understand that what we need is equality?

Religion, science, and all of the above

may not technically be the same,

but they are both systems based on faith and love.

They just don't share the same name.

One person cannot possibly change the world

but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

A new future could be unfurled,

if we could learn to see eye to eye.
