Where The Free Is

Home is where the free is

Where you don’t have to worry about if your children are behaving in gym

Where you don’t have to worry if they’re learning something in Mrs. Smiths class or not

Where your children don’t have to be afraid of the next rich white lady, grabbing her children in fear of you

Where you don’t have to worry if Billy is bullying Billy, about the clothes he has on

But where you can smile sadly and watch your children cry as they go to college

Home is where the free is

Where you don’t have to worry about the next $100 due on your light bill

Where you don’t have to worry what food will go with the only cup of water you have

Where you don’t have to worry about having nightmares on the rough, black couch you sleep on

Where you don’t have to worry about red and blue lights outside your window, because you already know who it is…your uncle

But where you can smile and know your grandmother lived til 93

Home is where the free is

Where you don’t have to worry about your closest fam, being killed by ‘accident’

Where you don’t have to see your uncle’s face on FOX News, subtitled wanted for rape

Where you don’t fell threatened just by the area you live in

Where you don’t worry for your cousin, because you know how bad she wants a baby, but yet still lives with her mother

But yet still smile, because hey we're family

Home is where the free is

Where blacks aren’t discriminating whites

Where whites aren’t discriminating Mexicans

Where Mexicans aren’t discriminating Native Americans

Where Native Americans aren’t discriminating Indians

Oh, I forgot this is my sweet, innocent America

But smile and notice we all bleed the same dark red blood.

Home is where the free is

Where you don’t have to worry about the dude walking behind you at night

Where you don’t feel sad because you see a woman standing with her child with a sign that reads, “Help im pregnant and my “lover” threw me on the street.

Where you don’t realize the government is creating diseases, causing terrorism, critics of everything…still stating were land of the free

But you cant smile because we yet aren’t free

Home is where I live

America, you are my horrible home
