Where Has the World Gone?

You call me a friend. That’s funny, I sure haven’t felt like one. You call me a bitch. I did nothing to you. You hurt me. And you even don’t care. Why are we so cruel? What is human nature? To think we are kind and generous, Or are we pitiless and competitive? I do not understand this nature we have, How we must hurt others All to feel better about ourselves. Where did the world go, When everyone was friends, When all were kind? This era has changed us, We are now each at war with each other. This is not how it should be.
