Where Have You Gone?

From day one she was always right by my side,

She never let me fall and hated when I cried.

But surely one morning I woke up and she was gone,

Without her to guide me through the game of life, I was a lost pawn.

She showed me what was right and wrong,

How was I supposed to stay strong?

She was m backbone,

And now I am left here all alone.

She is my mom,

But where has she gone?
