Where Hobos Go

There are places where Hobos go

places where normal people do not frequent

Like b’n bridges in train yards on rainy nights

With their sterno cans and stew.

When most normal citizens see these spindle

bums

They kick their doorkocks down.

This is sad and loathesome sound to a hobo,

Who once may have been a family man, or a

banker, perhaps even a preacher.

Who one day had the good sense to quit.
