Where I Am From
According to my family I am that little girl, who went through two surgeries
The little girl who has more hope than anybody.
According to my friends, I am crazy, stupid, weird, and pretty.
Not afraid to say what’s on my mind but always there when they need me.
But who am I according to myself?
Well according to me I am everything.
I am from marshmallow throwing, mayday parade music, and making many memories.
I am from bucket lists.
I am a dreamer lost in space.
I am a twin to one person that I was not’t born with.
I am from song writing speaking everything that’s trapped in my thoughts through lyrics.
From the falling stars to the five in the mornings.
I am from stressing over the little things and worry free about the big things.
I am from working hard and getting an education to goofing off in my own world.
From the stupid ideas to the crazy actions.
From the happy moments to the sad ones.
I am from knowing perfect is not’t real it’s imaginary.
I am from splashes of color posted all over my room like a display.
I am from New York City my birth place and future home,
To P.A. a free place to be on my own.
To take pictures in the middle of the road and,
To not doing anything that I’m told.
To making summer friendships and bringing them to New York.
I am from PR.
I am from the food and colors.
From the rice and beans to the red white and blue flag.
I am an explorer looking for a new place for my mind to wonder.
I am Maria Victoria Gonzalez who is also known as Ever.
I am everything.
I am silly moments, being weird, but being accepted by society.
I am me and no one else.
