Where I Live
Where I live there's no peace or tranquility.
Every conversation turns into an argument and every agrument turns into a fight
Werid, right?
Where I live .... I'm known as the liar and the devil's child.
And much more that I won't say because the conversation turns wild.
Where I live there's a rug in front of the door that says welcome, but
it should say happiness is not welcome here. Because at the door all smiles disappear...
I choose to believe I'm destined for greatness even though I'm called a failure.
They choose to believe everything alright
because unfortunately
all the horrific things happen out of their sight.
And I try with all my might to survive each and every night.
I know I'm a sinner, no need to remind me of my past.
But the friendship God and I made is going to last...
forever.
"Forever?!" the devil laughs, at my sorrow he laughs at
but I'm willing to get past that.
Where I live .. depression is so often I've mastered it to perfection.
Every obstacle is a lesson they say
well when is this lesson over?
I pray
Where I live is NOT where i belong nor where I'm going to stay.
I stay in concentration on my final destination.
