Where I went wrong?

She came,
With a blame.
That I was the culprit,
That she was hit
By the sorrows and by the tears
Broke our friendship of many years!
I asked myself; Was I the reason
For the cry and for this abject, abhor season?

Sometimes I go back to the chapter
Where we used to get along
We together have such fond memories
That turned it into song.

Replies became slower,Priorities changed.
Chats became shorter, Situations blamed.
Ticks still didn’t turn blue
And that’s how gradually the distance grew.

Now fingers tremble,
And they think twice.
It’s sad but life is full of sudden goodbyes.

Thinking to clear all the misunderstanding,
I gathered all my potential to talk
Messages and calls didn’t reach her,
Because I was already blocked.

I went through our old messages,
I cried.
Because she promised to always be there,
She lied.
I tried my best.
But in the end
She treated me like the rest.

Now I’m here all alone
Wondering were I went wrong.
Just dreaming what could been of it
If she was still around.

As they say time flows and never waits for anyone
So I became someone
From the important one
Now the incongruous situation is
She looks toward me and so do I
Thinking whether what each other is feeling!

A midst the cacophony of time
We are trying to live and to leave
Because I know and she knows
We are never going to be one
And so I became someone!
