Where im from

I am from extraordinary times. I am from the loud dial tones of the internet to Wi-Fi filled homes. From cassette players to MP3 players. I am from 2D TVs to 3D TVs. From 5 inch blocks we called cell phones to Apple iPhones. From VHS players to Blue Ray. I am from floppy disks to CDs. From paper maps to GPSs. From Atari to Xboxes. From gas cars to electric ones. I am from hand-written letters to messages sent insistently through the air. I am from extraordinary times. But soon I know these extraordinary times will pass me by. Until I am just yet another victim of the ever changing world Where I soon will lay to rest And where I’m from becomes unrecognizable.
