Where I'm From
I am from ashes
from shards and legendary rebirth.
I am from darkness beneath moon's shadow
lonely, silent,
it feels like snow.
I am from the world's remains,
the dark abyss
whose large gaping jaws I fear.
I'm from visions and dreams,
from mirrors and ice.
I'm from the fallen
and the awaken,
from picked up and thrown back.
I'm from his forgiven sins,
from those taken and not found.
I'm from earth and purgatory
first glance and last will.
With a tainted blade
and countless prayers
I begin once more.
