Where I'm From

I am from saguaros And the lonely desert sands. From hundred degree weather, A dry heat, of course. I am from many different nations All bundled into one girl. I am from hard work and determination, A former pizza boy to a principal. From three generations of "Leos," Though I have met only one. I am from lullabies and butterfly kisses Before I rest my head. I am from petty fights Yet being looked up to. From endless nights at reunions To early morning study sessions. I am from open books, open minds, And multiple open doors.
