Where I'm From

Where I’m From

By: Phuong Nguyen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where I’m from? I’m from the small, tropical countryWhere the sun always shine The sweltering never stop.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where I’m from?I’m from my Mother’s vigor, gently aids me.From the hardy huge assistance of my Father.Touch my hair.     I’m from where the old, slow music- being playedNever ever stop.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where I’m from?I’m from where the bright, yellow flowers ariseAs if they are holding fire,Holding my soul,My passion.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where I’m from?I’m from the endless fields,Where the winds blow and blowWhere the trees are soldiers,Protect and shield.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Where I’m from…Not the best, but my soulBeautiful VietNam.
