Where I'm From

Egypt is full of flowers,

It’s the country of love and peace,

Its more beautiful than you can ever imagine,

It’s the mother of the world,

I can hear her calling me to her.

The cities are glamorous and calm,

They catch your eye as soon as your there,

Big or small; they are still are big in my eyes,

Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Sharm El Sheikh, and a lot of other cities,

I still adore them all.

Places are ancient and old,

It has perfect gold,

Its impossible that these lovely sights would be sold,

I can hear the birds sing everywhere,

I can smell the fresh food.

Oh the sayings---

What stunning sayings I hear from all Egyptians,

O, Egypt is my love; it’s the best country,

Egypt is the mother of the world,

It’s ancient and very well-known of the Arab world.

Egypt is my home country—

I’ll never forget you my beloved home,

I miss you so much; that I want to be in your arms,

Your are the #1 country in the whole world,

I always miss your good people.
