Where I'm From
I am from pain
from a broken family that was friends
to hateful words and a broken friendship
thrown in the middle of a battle I cant fix
I'm from a big family
to feeling alone surrounded by siblings
to rising above the tough love
to being small because it becomes to much
I am from peace
to dwelling on the past
and realizing I cant fix what's broken
to finding an eerie peace within that pain
I am from the past
to don't let the past define you
to learning from your mistakes
becoming a different person in the end
I am from love
from the sister to far to reach
and the sister to close to see
to the parents standing there with me
from love I will always be
