where im from

(poems go here)Where I'm from, there's that warm fog that makes cough and that same fog blacken my lungs little by little each time. Where I'm from, the sirens of firefighters and the police ring in annoyance, whiles the police surround my block for the next crowd of ignorance. Where I'm from, there's that one crack in the ceiling, and from that ceiling there's the pesky roaches that I'm allergic to Where I'm from, childhood only lasted about five minutes when the ice cream truck stayed for at mist five minutes. Where I'm from, mom says that its their way of getting rid of pain, and the pain we can't yet bare Where I'm from, is where I hate to be home sweet home isn't just for me. Where I'm from, I will turn slowly once more. And stare into the eyes of my past, say goodbye and leave for college but never go back Where I'm from, it just seems that there's more than just that...
