Where I'm From

I am from My favorite place
Grandpas house
Where I spent most
Of my childhood

I am from the
One person I look up to
The most my grandpa

I am from The 17th hole
Of Thunder Hills Golf course
Which was grandpa's
Back yard

I am from The woods
Where I hunted Golf balls and
The back yard Where I sat and
Watched all the 4th Of July fireworks
The hills I rolled Down and spent
Hours sledding down

I am from The basement of
Grandpas where I Spent long nights
Talking to the cousins Instead of sleeping

I am from"Can we go
to bumpa’s house,"
And "Are my
Cousins coming,"

I am from the stuff bumble bee
That I named Gorge
That grandpa gave me
when he moved away

I am from
Stuffed shells, cheesy chicken
Meat loaf, and spiral ham
All cooked by
Grandma's own hand

I am from
Thunder Hills Country Club
Where I went for
Halloween parties, Easter egg hunts
And of course to see Santa

I am from
Helping dig worms so
I could go fishing
With grandpa and
Spending hours
Reeling my pole in
And casting it out
We never caught much
But we had fun

I am from all the nicknames
Grandpa gave me when I
Was little that I still have today

I am from Cedar chests full
Of many wonderful
Memories and happy
Moments that was spent
With my grandpa

That make up who I am
