Where I'm From
I’m from a big city
A city that I don’t remember
Pittsburgh I lived for a year as a baby
Leaving every family member for my dad's job
I’m from the beach
The sand in my toes
One years old up to twelve years old
Crying once it was time to move for a new job
I’m from depression taking over
Losing my friends since I was little
Having to meet new people
Not fitting in,I’m a beach girl not a Nova girl
I’m from being a victim of being bullied
Not standing up for myself
A girl who almost lost her mommy
A girl who didn’t know how to be happy anymore
I’m from a girl who broke out her shell
A girl who stood up for herself
Found my happy place called lacrosse
Lost my place from knee surgery
Fought the recovery and found that place again
I am from finding a best friend I can tell anything
I am from being able to trust someone with so much
I am from keeping my best friend in line just like she does for me
I am from having Diana making true laughter come through
Summer days hanging out every single day
Finding another sister in my life
I am from a rough time into happiness
Mommy, dad, Brooke, and Diana
Helping me through roughness
Now knowing I’m worth more than I thought
Ups and downs into strongness
Happy smiley person again
