Where I'm From

I’m from a broken home

Where both families fight

I’m from a Family

That was never that polite

I’m from a small town in Texas

Where people say Yes ma’am and No ma’am

Where my Daddy taught me

That I always can

I’m from a place

Deep down inside

Where I don't always feel happy

I just feel like crying

Where little kids can roam

And fires always flicker

I’m from a daddy helping me

Get out a sticker bur

I'm from a Mom

Who didn't start out strong

But she alway had her sights set

On teaching us kids right from wrong

I'm from lies

Where i get different

Information

From each side.

I’m from many brothers

And only one sister

With which whom i had many fights

While just trying to assist her

I’m from two people

That I love the most

One is named Mason, the other Patrick Jr.

These are two of my brothers that will always be there

Even in the far future

I’m from four step brothers

With only one from my step dad

And the rest from my step mom

Austin Cameron and Bryce And also Matthew

I’m from a dad and stepmom

Who loves me through everything

I’m from a mom and step dad

Who also love me through everything

I’m from disappointments and sadness

Where the only person I could talk to face to face

Without it leaving her mouth

Was my step-mom

I’m from a Mom

Who had beautiful long red hair

I’m from compliments

From just about everywhere

I’m from the Father

The Son

And the Holy Spirit

But when I cry out

To him

I feel like

He doesn't always hear it

I’m from a place

Where God is the King

And from his amazing Grace

I will rise up and sing

I’m now from Eastern

A place where I thought

I could

Start over

I’m from back stabbing and rudeness

Which taught me to not

Trust anyone

Right off the bat

I’m from a best friend

Who used to be my enemy

Was once a hate and now a love

I hope that she misses me

But I don't think she does

I’’m from a phone call

To tell her the news

About how i would be leaving

To be with my mom

I’m from her hanging up on me

And ignoring me for months

I’m from crying at night

Waiting for her to pick up

I’m from a hard decision

That changed my life

To stay or leave

What did I have in mind?

I’m from the United States of America

Where I can be whatever I want to be

And I will always know

That my family will ALWAYS be there for me
