Where I'm at

I was slow to communicate, but sure to alleviate, some confusion and the pain buried deep in my brain.

I want to bridge this ugly gap between my heart and my mind, stay in the present, feel the love, it’s really not a crime

The paradigm tells us to find the perfect one, but really noon’e perfect, my mind is always on the run.

Been explorin myself, and you’ve right by my side, technically we broke, but our hearts still on the ride

Who knows what will come, something to manifest, I want to live my best life, while pettin hairs on your chest.

Our hearts been held hostage, logic works to stop the spark, I know it’s only been a month, but I’m feelin in the dark

So greatful I am for the connection we have kept, but we’re calling It a limbo, and we’ve both barely slept

When we be face-to-face, it’s like the logic is irrelevant, our bodies sending signals, so you give yourself..nothin like ya sellin it

We gasp and we sweat, we give, and get all wet

We cum, and we pause…. And then we pick at what we’ve caused

We think of what was, and how we used to be, but in fact it’s still here, just with a site of what is free

What is free is no more fear, fear to contemplate the long-run, but then I realize I am here, with love brighter than the sun.

Pressure isn’t real, so no point to really feel it, instead we look within and find what is to deal with

To create us again would bend the status quo, I could focus on my path, just as I witness Christian’s flow,

I can’t predict the years, or retrieve the one before, but if I think with my heart, I just love you more and more.
