Where i'm from

I’m from Deepwater where kids could play,

I’m from catching fireflies and riding around town.

I’m from the smell of sweets and movies at night,

I’m from smelling roses to growing plants

I’m from Stephan and Clarrissa,

A family home.

I’m from movie nights and up late

Playing games.

I’m from “take a chill pill” and

Hand me downs

I’m from sleepovers and singing music

I’m from seeing the 70’s show and

Family kickball.

I’m from the club in the back

And wondering in a tree.

I’m from the park with bruises on my knee,

I’m from camping and smores and late

Night carnivals, I’m from Sunday roleplaying

With those I need.

I’m from dream big and

Anything is possible.

I’m from love and affection with

I believe. I’m from

Imagination and hours of playing.
