Where I'm from

I am from books, from bleach, and Clorox I am from acorns on the porch (brown, rough, it tasted like dirt) I am from the hedges the big oak tree whose branches held me up I am from tacos and glasses from Twylah and David I'm from smart-alecs and sassiness from "Go play with your brother!" I'm from Christianity with communion every 1st Sunday I'm from Indiana and Texas, Oreos and Dr.Pepper. From the snakes the cat found and the 3 pairs of glasses my grandma needs. In my room there is a bookshelf with books filled with adventure and laughter and sadness to lose myself in the stories on long days to show I don't always need others I am from those memories lots of unfound knowledge yet to be discovered and loved by others.
