Wants and needs
Aimless seeds
Planted, but only
One would grow.
Only
One would bloom.
The distance,
The isolation,
The earthly man
On the moon.
Coded in the lights
Like Moriss
To have is not
To profit
To be without
Is not to be
Needy,
The ache
For someone
To need me,
When all I need
Is me.
Thoughts leech
Out my brain
Till they eat
Out my face
Of self esteem
To a cresent phase
I'm less than
Half myself
Within.
It's easier to
Balance
It's easier to
Bottle up
Emotions
But I sip them slow
Like hard liquor
Through
A silver chalice.
No dessert storm
Can desert you
From self.
So, do you chose
To be a friend,
Or enemy of self?
In a desert, all by myself
I shall not fear myself
But trust that in needing
Myself,
attachments
Shall accent and
Not conjure or conquer
My self.

Conjure
