Where It Leads You

Your mind may get confused by the lost transmissions,

As your heart just tries to break free of your rib cage.

All you gotta do is follow it until the end,

I promise that you'll love where it leads you.

Your brain forms its handcuffs every time it says 'no',

You listen and ignore what your heart is trying to say.

Your thoughts are so loud they drown out your love,

They drown out your hate, your sadness, and your life.

Why won't you just listen to what it needs to say?

Your heart is trying to take you somewhere but you're stuck in place.

Why can't you just listen to it and run?

I promise that you'll love where it leads you.
