Where I’m from

I am from

Bright crystal balls surrounding my room

Fill with even brighter rocks

Gazing at them whenever I have a chance

Instead of chatting with my so called neighbors

I am from

A small playground

Bright color of yellow

Yet darkened by the dark red,

The color I love most.

I am from

Rows of houses

Colored the same

As if its a little game of

Shame.

I am from

Moans of parents trying

To get their children to look up

Off their phones

Yet the children sit still

Stiff as stone.

I am from

“Superheroes are awesome

Someday you might be the same”

I am from

Chocolates and sweets

Yet still being told

To fill our bellies with Veggies

Yet we still flee

ending up hurting our knees.

I am from

Staring at a very mad ocean

Well I put on so much lotion

No one stopping me

Nor making a commotion

Just cause it would hurt my emotions.
